The In Vitro Unplugged LED Lamp with Battery 2700K has a cylinder-shaped exterior frame which resembles a lantern and has been made from aluminium. Inside the frame, Starck has added a chamber made from borosilicate glass, and inside that chamber he has added the diffuser made from opalescent glass. The combination of different materials protects the light source, making the lamp well-suited to use indoors and out. There is a silicone handle on the top of the frame, as well as an integrated dimmer that is operated via an optical touch sensor on the head. This dimmer has 4 stages: off, 3%, 50% and 100% brightness. Charging takes place via a 120cm long USB-C cable, and the lamp can store as much as 6 hours of charge. It measures 39.3cm high and 13.2cm in diameter, making it compact and easy to handle. The In Vitro Unplugged LED Lamp with Battery 2700K has a built-in LED light source that cannot be replaced.
