Bruno Taut: Houses and People of Japan

An account of Bruno Taut's three year residence in Japan describing Japanese architecture and its relation to Japanese civilization. The book is illustrated with seven color offset reproductions of drawings by Bruno Taut and one by Prof. Kishide drawings. All together the account contains 553 illustrations including b/w photographs, most of them by Bruno Taut, sketches by Taut and contributed by Japanese and other artists as well as architectural drawings and plans.
