The twelfth edition of ‘Archives’ centres on the work and ideas of Pritzker prizewinner Smiljan Radić, who has earned a reputation for his original and emotional approach to architecture. His buildings are known for their poetic atmosphere, raw materials, and dreamlike forms. Besides photographs, sketches, and texts about the Chilean architect’s experimental works, in which nature, art, and sculpture come together, the publication offers discussions on celebrated projects like the Serpentine Pavilion and Teatro Regional del Biobío. The book also features houses, temporary structures, and conceptual installations that reflect Radić’s poetic and unconventional design approach.
