A major exploration of the work of American architect Bruce Goff, including the paintings, objects, and ephemera often overshadowed by his architectural legacy.

Catalog for the major 2026 exhibit at Chicago Art Institute, the first undertaken since 1995. Perhaps the best book on Bruce Goff ever produced. New essays cover Goff's paintings along with design influences such as Native American, Asian art, music, and use of unconventional building materials. Beautiful book design by graphics firm CONTENT/OBJECT.

Superb extensive color images. Sampling of Goff's drawings for architectural projects: 500 designed, 150 built.  Stunning new photos of the Struckus House n LA, the last house he designed. A thorough deep endeavor - both the exhibit and catalog.

PM Books staff Grant Gustafson, former Goff apprentice, is enthused to see his 1980 drawing of the Perez House - fig 156 (see picture). Grant is also cited as designer for Goff's grave marker using a piece of glass cullet (see picture), a material Goff loved.
