For the first time, this volume brings together all the articles, essays, and interviews that Ilka and Andreas Ruby have written about the work of Pritzker Prize-winning practice Lacaton & Vassal. Their texts have been crucial in developing a critical perspective on the work of the renowned architectural duo. Lacaton & Vassal are known for a radical critique of the modernist subsistence level, which had defined the size of a dwelling as a purely economic function and budget.
